Vertebral body replacement (VBR) device.

Working with a startup company with only 3 employees, Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) developed their idea for an expandable spinal cage. SwRI designed and tested the device, wrote portions of the 510K application, developed marketing animations, and assisted in manufacturing transfer to the licensee. The work resulted in 18 U.S. patent applications for the client.
