This is an example
of a development project completed at SwRI.
The first commercially available continuous arterial blood gas monitor was developed at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI). This medical device uses an indwelling radial artery catheter with fiber optics to measure pH, pCO2, and pO2. For more information about biomaterials capabilities at SwRI or how you can contract with SwRI, please contact Jian Ling, Ph.D., at jling@swri.org or (210) 522-3953.
