System Security and High Reliability Software

The System Security and High Reliability Software Section in the Automation and Data Systems Division conducts research and provides solutions for secure and high-reliability applications. We have experience in Internet-scale cyber security and information assurance, infrastructure and SCADA security, embedded systems security, software assurance, and vulnerability and risk analysis. We also design and develop software for applications requiring security and high-reliability, particularly in the embedded and real-time domains. Our developmental group has been independently assessed as a Software Engineering Institute Capability Maturity Model Integration^® (SEI/CMMI^®) Level 5 organization. The research we conduct in software security and reliability feed our developmental capabilities, enabling us to apply the latest techniques and approaches to our developmental efforts.
