Signal Processing Section

SwRI provides advanced acquisition, recognition, direction finding (DF), and tracking systems to government agencies, militaries, and commercial clients in the United States and around the world. The Signal Processing Section at SwRI provides software for radio-frequency (RF) signal exploitation and geolocation systems.

The section provides software development for a wide range of systems including:

  • Signal acquisition, intercept, and recognition
  • Naval communications intelligence systems
  • Ground-based DF and single-site location systems
